Trust Building the Reina Way
In this program, participants will develop the skills needed to deliver the suite of Reina Trust Assessments.
The certification program emphasizes the Reina Way - a scientifically backed methodology for assessing and building trust throughout all aspects of an organization. Using the The Reina Trust and Betrayal Model®, participants will learn about how trust is made, how trust is broken, and how trust can be rebuilt.
They will develop the skills to interpret the data given by the assessments, and bring that data to clients in a meaningful way.
Participants will begin the process by doing pre-work prior to the beginning of the program. This work familiarizes you with the Reina Methodology, and gives you experience in taking the assessments so that during the program you can get hands on training in giving, and getting, feedback from the data collected.
During the Program, you will:
- Develop an Understanding of the theoretical underpinning of the trust assessments.
- Learn what trust means, the behaviors that build it and how they are measured.
- Learn the subtle, and not-so-subtle, ways trust breaks down and how this vulnerability of trust impacts leadership effectiveness and team performance.
- See the rich opportunity for transformation a breach of trust provides to leaders and teams.
- Gain understanding of the Reina Trust Scale® system: When to use which Trust Assessment.
- Learn how to read and interpret the Team Trust and Leadership Trust Scale® feedback reports.
- Develop skills for delivering trust assessment feedback through first hand practice sessions.

This 5-Day Program allows you to become familiar with each assessment, use your own data to practice giving feedback session in a face-to-face, group setting. This allows for deeper engagement and interactions
You will be asked to complete pre-work assignments prior to beginning the certification process.
What to Expect
Day 1:Discover the foundational componentsof trust building and define the business and cultural needs that trust enables all while gaining an understandingof why trust is essential.
Day 2: Understand Reina’s Team Trust Scale®. Learn how to read, interpret and apply its feedback report. Practice and develop skills for facilitating a Team Trust Scale feedback session.
Day 3: Understand Reina’s Leadership Trust Scale®. Learn how to read, interpret and apply its feedback report. Practice and develop skills for facilitating both an individual or group coaching feedback session.
Day 4: Understand Reina’s Organizational Trust Scale®. Learn how to read, interpret and apply its feedback report. Discover clear, tangible and actionable strategies to help you or your clients use assessment results to make change happen.
Day 5: Discover the power of having a systemic application of trust building strategies working for you. Learn how to market and apply all three of Reina’s assessments in your client’s organization or your own.
Pre-Work is Required for Certification
In order to become familiar with our work, the language of trust, and to gain some fundamental understanding of Trust Building, you will be asked to complete pre-work assignments prior to beginning the certification process.
Standard pre-work requirements include:
- Reading the book Trust and Betrayal in the Workplace, 3rdeditionby Dennis & Michelle Reina – books are available through Amazon
- Participating in a Team Trust Scale Assessment or Leadership Trust Scale Assessment
- Advance review of specific certification materials that will be sent to you.
Prior to beginning the certification sessions we also require that you complete a Statement of Interest, an Intent application, and sign our Letter of Agreement. These items will be sent to you via email after you complete your registration.
Having completed the pre-work and taken your own assessment, you will be ready to jump in to the program with complete knowledge of what others will go through when embarking on this process.
Assessments require some outside, third party participation so be sure to leave time enough to complete the work.
