A sample of workplace issues/organizational initiatives that our work supports:

The Missing Ingredient - Trust

Your organization has invested a lot of time, money and energy into a strategic change initiative- but you haven’t achieved the desired results. Maybe your organization has spent millions on redesigning a work process (i.e. how customer orders are handled between departments). Yet the redesign isn’t working as well as you had hoped, because there are log-jams in certain departments.

These programs promised a lot, made sense, and should have worked. Yet, they haven’t.  There is a good chance that trust is the missing key ingredient! Your employees probably don’t trust each other and maybe they don’t trust you as much as they could.  This lack of trust may be causing them to resist the changes, sit on information and not share it, create work-arounds rather than deal with people and problems directly, etc, etc.

Trust and Ethics: Compliance or Conviction?

Do people in your organization practice ethical values consistently or only when it is convenient, self-serving and profitable? Do people practice ethical behavior out of governmental compliance or out of conviction in doing the right thing? Do your employees know what ethical behavior is? Educating people in appropriate ethical behavior is important not only for governmental compliance but as a sound business practice. What can you do to train your people? How can you develop greater ethical behavior in your organization?

You can use Trust Building
® to train employees and help develop greater ethical behavior in their dealings with co-workers and customers alike; not out of an imposed requirement to comply but because they WANT to be ethical.  Building effective relationships based on a solid foundation of trust helps teach what ethics is all about!

A Time to Rebuild - Trust

Your organization has gone through extensive change and it is time to rebuild morale and reengage your employees. But you know that trust is low, the change didn’t produce its intended results and your employees aren’t aligned with you. How do you rebuild trust, reengage your employees and move forward to accomplish your goals?

In a workplace environment where trust and morale are low, people do not put forth their best efforts. In fact, they spend most of their time and energy defending their positions, avoiding new processes, and gossiping and backbiting. These alienated employees not only assume the worst about their bosses, but they also spread mistrust and doubt throughout a company’s workforce and do significant harm to both organizational productivity and the bottom line.

Yet, these conditions can be opportunities for growth … if it is dealt with and worked through appropriately.  When these situations are fully acknowledged and people are supported, proper healing can take place, and trust can be rebuilt.

Transform your organization based upon a foundation of trust!
